USCIS Forms effective dates info a Mistake

According to ilw.com the biggest immigration law publisher online, USCIS’s immigration forms page [last visited 07/31/07, 3pm ET]

states that Form I-129F Fiancee Petition and Form I-290B Notice of Appeal require the new 7/30/07 version and that all previous versions will be not accepted (the I-765 Form now states that previous editions are accepted).

ILW has learned that the information on the USCIS web page is a mistake and
previous versions of Forms I-129, I-290B, and I-765 are being accepted by USCIS. We want to let clients and site visitors know that all cases filed last week will be accepted with the previous version of the forms.

I call on USCIS to be more responsible before posting any such updates on their site.
